How often do you have to shoe your horses? Well, it depends! But, when we do, thankfully we are able to do all of our shoeing ‘in house’ with our vaqueros who, in addition to being amazing horsemen, are also trained to do many of the essential chores around the ranch - such as shoeing! (And, just in case you were wondering - our horses aren’t normally so dirty, but Zeus had just come back from a great gallop along the beach and when he got back to the ranch the first thing that he wanted to do was a big roll in the dirt. So, roll in the dirt he did, and then to the mani pedi )
