Whether you are traveling on your cruise with the whole family, making it a romantic getaway, or just taking a quick weekend vacation with friends, we look forward to helping you make your day in Ensenada something you won’t forget!

Upon disembarking from the ship one of our friendly, bilingual, licensed taxi drivers will be waiting for you at the meeting spot with a sign that has your name on it.

A scenic 45 minute drive through rolling hillsides and past the Valle de Guadalupe - Baja’s winemaking and culinary region - will bring you into the rural village of La Mision, known for its horse and cowboy culture.

When your taxi pulls into the ranch you will know that you are home - the dogs are the first greeting party and can’t wait to have their heads scratched! At the ranch we have 30 horses, 12 dogs, a bunch of sheep, goats, chickens, roosters and even a donkey named Taquito!

Once you have a chance to stretch your legs, use the bathroom, and give all the animals greetings, we will give you a brief overview of how to ride a horse and then get you matched with your horse and fit with your saddle and out onto the trails!

Our ride starts by winding through a scenic and protected estuary, along the Guadalupe River, through trails and then out onto Playa La Mision, the most beautiful stretch of beach in all of Northern Baja. Once on the beach those who would like to try out their newly acquired vaquero skills will have a chance to trot, canter, or even gallop along the beach.

Imagine feeling the wind blowing through your hair, the seagulls flying past, and you and your horse floating together as you gallop through the water!

Along the way our expert guides will be your personal ‘paparazzi’ capturing photos and videos of your experience - all included in your ride - and air dropped to you when you get back to the ranch.

And, if that is not enough, you can also request our special ‘margarita ride’ which includes a freshly made (from real limes!) margarita once you are back to the ranch.

After you’ve gotten all the photos you want, hung out with the animals, and let some of the authentic Mexican hospitality sink in, the taxi will be ready to take you back to the Port of Ensenada. On the way he can take you for some of the most delicious tacos the area has to offer, or if you’d rather, to get all your souvenirs taken care of at Ensenada’s downtown shopping area.

• Advanced reservations required - book here

• The taxi will pick you up an hour before your ride - so, for a 9am ride it is an 8am pickup, 11am ride is a 10am pickup, 1pm ride is a 12pm pickup

• The total cost for the taxi is $70 dollars round trip for up to 4 people, paid in cash to the driver upon your return to the port. Each additional person is $10/person up to 7 people. (It is a taxi mini van)

• The taxi will have a sign with your name on it.
